In addition to their two sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden, Pearl Jam will also play New York’s Beacon Theatre July 1st for a private charity event benefiting the Robin Hood organization. It’ll be amazing, if you have the cash

But, at least you know it’ll be big wigs willing to part with their money for charity, and die-hard fans who have the cash and are willing to donate.

All in all, once again, Pearl Jam is a class act.

ha ha.. this site is a joke… Free Bostonlou is apparently on topic… but questioning the band and their high prices gets deleted… even without swearing.

For the uninitiated PJ is the most fan-friendly and one of the most planet friendly bands on the …. well, planet.

Fan club members, minimal dues, get great seats based on seniority and all seats are way way way under what market value for a band of their stature could charge. They take on big causes – and get folks who can to pay more – and then do little things like telling you you don’t have to bring the PRINTED confirmation (i.e. don’t waste paper) just know your numbers.
