Today marks the release of The Muppet Show: The Complete Third Season on DVD. The show, broadcast in 1978-79, featured some of the series’ best and sharpest puppet-based comedy. But it is also notable for the impressive array of musical guests who appeared to goof around with the felt-covered stars.
