News Ticker: Bonnaroo, Jay-Z, Josiah Lemming and Napster

  • For the first time in it’s seven-year history, Bonnaroo will be broadcast live via Fuse TV. The station will feature each day’s best performances, totaling six hours of coverage.
  • As part-owner of the New Jersey Nets, Jay-Z will represent his team at this year’s NBA Draft Lottery, to be conducted live tonight at 8PM on ESPN.
  • American Idol hopeful Josiah Lemming, a.k.a. The Emo Kid Who Lives in his Car, has signed a recording and publishing deal with Warner Brothers.
  • Starting today, Napster is making all six million MP3s in its library DRM-free. The download service has the backing of all four major labels.

I love the fact that BONNAROO is now being televised!! I’m gonna tivo FUSE’s coverage and watch for myself on tv once i return from Manchester.

about damn time!

why has it taken so long for bonaroo broadcasts to make it to TV? too bad MTVHD isnt doing the broadcast - or any HD station.
