• Joe Simpson, has inked a distribution deal with EMI Records for his Papa Joe Records. The first release under the new partnership is Ryan Cabrera’s third LP.
• Actor Joaquin Phoenix has been working on songs with Charlatans frontman Tim Burgess, but Burgess says Phoenix may never release the songs.
