
- R. Kelly’s lawyers filed a motion yesterday to delay the start of Kelly’s child pornography case due to the publicity it has received. Prosecution has until today, when jury selection is slated to begin in Chicago, to respond to the request.
- Dave Grohl has written an open letter to Metallica, requesting they not release their new album “until it’s kick-ass” even though he’s sure they’ll “come out and blow everybody’s fuckin’ minds, because you’re fuckin’ METALLICA!” UPDATE: Grohl says he didn’t actually pen a letter, but gave a single quote to a journalist when asked about the status of Metallica’s album.
- Foxy Brown will avoid additional jail time after pleading guilty to hitting her neighbor with a cell phone last year.
- Frank Zappa’s trust will issue a previously unreleased 1972 Zappa concert on May 27th as a two-disc set called Wazoo.
