5/8/08, 10:38 am EST

After giving her old label Warner Brothers one last going-away present with the number one debut of Hard Candy, Madonna is ready to make good on her ten-year contract with Live Nation by launching her Sticky and Sweet Tour. The trek will kick off in Cardiff, Wales, on August 23rd, spin through Europe and then cross the Atlantic for an October 3rd show in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The Material Girl will then play stadiums and arenas throughout the U.S. before venturing down for a South America jaunt. Live Nation will produce the tour, Madonna’s first since her record-breaking Confessions tour raked in $260 million in 2006. Ticket prices will be in the $55-$350 range. How can she call this a “world tour” when the entire eastern hemisphere is ignored (just like all her tours since Drowned World and a couple of Confessions shows in Japan). How about playing in Southeast Asia fot the first time…Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangkok. We can afford it. The Police charged USD430 for the top ticket price in Singapore and they sold out. Luckily I saw her Blond Ambition and Girlie Show tours when I lived in Toronto.

We have a big place here that can hold a couple of thousand (!)of her closest lifetime loyal fans!! We have a beach! We have trees! It’s poetry by the Pacific! We can dance!! Ms. M? Pretty please call! Operators are standing by! Thank you! :) !
