There are too many songs from which to choose. I am glad to see “I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man” so high up. That is an excellent song. “Strange Relationship” should be on this list, bumping “Darling Nikki.” I cannot argue with number 1, although either “Kiss” or “1999″ are its equal. What an incredible artist.

It’s really hard to agree on a Prince’s list, but i think the end results are pretty fair, love to see “Darling Nikki” and “Sign o’ The Times ” there, i just wish more people voted for the Dirty Mind years, Prince at his rawest moment.

Although it truly is impossible to narrow down his best stuff to 15 tracks, this list (which was likely based on feedback from both die-hard and casual fans alike) is as good as one could hope. Can’t argue with #1 pick “When Doves Cry” (that song NEVER gets old), and I’m glad to see the ‘Sign O The Times’ album so well represented. One song I forgot to include on my ballot: “If I Was Your Girlfiend”. Awesome tune!
