5/2/08, 3:16 pm EST

Wondering who decided Frente’s cover of “Bizarre Love Triangle” should accompany the moment on The Hills when Audrina finally broke up with Justin Bobby? Or who decreed that Natasha Bedingfield’s “Unwritten” become the can-do anthem of teen girls everywhere? Ye old “MTV doesn’t even play videos anymore” argument was tired and bitter 5 years ago. You have obviously graduated from the target demo of a very successful network. Congrats. Now, repeat after me, “VH1 Classic” (and Discovery Health).

Fuck the hills. Quit poisoning your mind with this garbage.

Actually the songs on The Hills all sound exactly the same: safe non-offensive whiny pop junk.

Why can’t MTV import HIT songs? Better yet why don’t they bring in good retro stuff. The music on the show is weak!

Actually, one of the best canvasses for new music on MTV are MUSIC VIDEOS. Remember those, MTV? Remember when you celebrated and promoted quality music, not stupid little rich girls?

MTV = Mongoloid Television
