
- Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora was officially charged with two counts of DUI stemming from a March 25 arrest. Sambora avoided a child endangerment charge, as his ten-year-old daughter was in the car when he was pulled over.
- Bright Eyes‘ Conor Oberst will release a new album under his own name on August 5th. Conor Oberst will be the Rolling Stone’s Best Songwriter’s first collection of songs released under his own name since 1996.
- AC/DC have completed recording their new, Brendan O’Brien-produced CD in Vancouver and are now in the mixing and artwork stages, says singer Brian Johnson. The band hopes to unleash the new record later this year.
- The reissue of Fergie’s The Duchess will feature a track (and video) with Nelly called “Party People,” as well as the theme from the upcoming Sex and the City movie “Labels or Love.”
