“Then we found out about the video game premiere of their new single and their new album and touring festival at what looked like the coolest press conference of all time.”

I hate Motley Crue, but I’ll definitely admit that this marketing strategy of their new signal is nothing short of genius. The video game concept has opened an avenue that could allow artists to get residuals from their songs.

Maybe instead of the 80’s concept of video games like Donkey Kong Pac Man and Defender, rockbands could put out videogames all over the world that would suck up people’s quarters and make them even more profits for artists than ever before. Absolutely brilliant.

Could you Imagine a Radiohead or Pink Floyd videogame?
