Wow a childrens book, huh? All due respect – How about putting some effort in being at least have audible at one of your shows?

There’s a basic theme that runs throughout Bill Cosby’s hip-hop album “Cosby Narratives Vol. 1: State of Emergency” – what to do when you run out of Jello Puddin’ Pops. That’s why it’s titled “State of Emergency.” It’s an emergency when you don’t have any more pudding pops, dammit! Thank you Bill Cosby for giving us guidance.

Dammit Bill Cosby! I thought Crosby Stills Nash and Young had put out a hip hop album.

I have to commend the members of the Pulitzer board that voted Bob Dylan this well-deserved, touching, prestigious award. He has made monumental contributions to poetry, music, and worldwide peace and understanding, but is such a hard to define apparition-like presence, that I’m speechless and awestruck that his words are still so celebrated and cherished. Right on! You guys know genius when you see and hear it. I’d love to seem him pick up a guitar and harmonica and leave the keyboard in the backroom.

It’s about time Rock took it’s rightful place in the long list of Pulitzer Prize winners. I would like to commend the Pulitzer Prize committee for their wise choice. Not since Wynton Marsalis won the award has this Jazz and Blues Lady been so elated. Bob Dylan’s thoughtful and passionate work chills my heart, soul and often makes me cry.

As I watched the Pulitzer Prize awards programmes I reflected back to the time when my late husband Hans Marius Stormoen and I were translating Bob Dylan’s book Chronicles-volume one into Norwegian. While watching his modest acceptance speech, I felt as if I knew Bob just a bit more as a human being. It didn’t seem as if the award was a big deal at all to him. However, Bob Dylan has more than one side and the un-edited version of Chronicles-volume one captures that with all its rapture.
