The 25th Annual ASCAP Pop Awards were held last night at Hollywood’s Kodak Theatre. Timbaland received the organization’s top pop award, Songwriter of the Year, while Gwen Stefani’s “The Sweet Escape” and Fergie’s “Big Girls Don’t Cry” tied for Song of the Year. Despite all the tumult since their takeover, EMI Music Publishing managed to take home Publisher of the Year. Other artists winning assorted awards were Justin Timberlake, Akon, The-Dream, Ludacris and Nelly Furtado. Additionally, Steve Miller and Lionel Richie were given Golden Note Awards for lifetime achievement. Quincy Jones was on hand to honor Richie, while Les Paul honored Miller via video. Finally, Sara Bareilles took home the Vanguard Award for “helping shape the future of American music.”

I see that clip of Fergie with a wet spot between her legs while she was on stage.

The commenatators always say she peed herself. Did it ever occur to any of these people that she might’ve been really turned on? She was on stage.

Boogie Nights | 4/10/2008, 10:12 pm EST

Amber Waves sitting at a booth at the Boogie Nights club with Jack Horner. Rollergirl skating over to the table. Rollergirl is holding herself and doing a pee pee dance.

Amber: What’s wrong down there?

Rollergirl: I have to go pee.

Amber Waves: Well, go then.

Rollergirl: Okay. (skates away)

. . . Doesn’t seem significant, but right after that, Jack Horner discovers Eddie Adams aka “Dirk Diggler”.

If Rollergirl didn’t have to pee (or decided to go right there in her shorts just like Fergie, she would’ve blocked Jack’s view, and just maybe, he would’ve never spotted Dirk.

. . . Something to think about.
