It’s too bad the unreleased 1972 Decca live album has never seen the light of day. I found it on bootleg and it’s freakin’ amazing. That album has THE best version of Gimme Shelter. Much love to Ronnie Wood, but Mick Taylor was the best guitar player the Stones have had.

Speaking of bootlegs, Brussels Affair (taken from the ‘73 tour) has to be considered one of the best, if not the best, of all-time. The ten minute-plus version of “You Can’t Always Get” is absolutely amazing, and Mick’s solo is perfectly complimented with the sax solo that follows. Get this.
