“This album has the vibe of Dr. Feelgood, Girls Girls Girls and Shout at the Devil,” promises Mötley Crüe’s Nikki Sixx of the original lineup’s first album since 1997. The still-untitled album borrows heavily from Crüe’s autobiography The Dirt and attempts to recapture the glitter rock sound with song titles like “Down at the Whisky” and “White Trash Circus.” “There’s also a lot of humor because, let’s face it, we’re ridiculously funny,’” Sixx says. To read more about the Crüe’s new album, check out our Spring Album Preview in the Rolling Stones-and-Jack White-covered issue of RS (on stands now) or check back here Friday for the expanded version of the feature.
