News Ticker: Stone Temple Pilots, New Kids on the Block, Led Zeppelin

  • Stone Temple Pilots will reportedly play more than fifty amphitheaters across the U.S. this summer. The new dates are expected to be announced April 7th.
  • The five original New Kids on the Block will appear Friday morning on the Today Show, following earlier rumors of a reunion to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of Hangin’ Tough.
  • Jimmy Page told UK’s The Mirror Led Zeppelin’s reunion show last December was recorded, but not “with the express purpose of making a DVD to come out at Christmas.” However Page added a CD or DVD could be released “at some distant point.”
  • Serj Tankian has postponed a week’s worth of European tour dates due to illness. The dates have been rescheduled for late August and early September.

I noticed that the guys hated the NKOTB but the girls LOVED them (like me) I cant WAIT to see a concert it will bring back memories of my childhood…I think thats what this is about for most of us out there.

Music these days is terrible, it all sounds the same. How many artists put out a cd where EVERY song is worth listening to these dayz? Pretty much NONE! You cant even hear what half of them are saying because they are rattled on drugs and booze!

The guys are just jealous thats why guys hate the NKOTB….

New Kids reunion! VH1 tried to get them back together for one performance a few years ago and Danny and Donnie wouldn’t have anything to do with it. Wonder what could have possibly changed thier minds? Hummmmmm……money?

STP and NKOTB are going to for a supergroup called STPNKOTB. They will dress like ballerinas and perform Swan Lake at every show. The 30 date tour will all take place Arizona. At the end of the tour they will eat poisened liver pate on stage and all get very ill.

NKOTB are putting out a new Sweating to the Oldies album with Richard Simmons. This tour will be fabulous and up and running as soon as they pump the liter of semen out of Danny’s throat and stomach so that he can once again sing like a siren.

This is good news for people wanting to see the band in concert. Obviously, a dvd of the December ‘07 show would dilute the intrinsic value of a tour. If Zep were over and done with, they’d go ahead and release the concert dvd to capitalize on interest generated by the reunion.
