Nine Inch Nails Announce Summer Dates, “Reform” Touring Band

3/28/08, 10:46 am EST

Nine Inch Nails announced the first leg of their summer tour on the band’s Web site yesterday. Trent Reznor also confirmed rumors that his touring band — which featured Twiggy Ramirez (who since rejoined Marilyn Manson), Devo/Vandals drummer Josh Freese, the Icarus Line’s Aaron North and keyboardist Alessandro Cortini — would be “reformed,” with “details coming” about the new lineup. On the tour schedule, there’s a two-night window between the August 2nd show in Minneapolis and August 5th show in Toronto, conveniently making it possible for Nine Inch Nails to close out this year’s Lollapalooza festival in Chicago on August 3rd as rumored. Check after the jump for the full list of NIN dates.

Oh right I cant wait to see Trent Razor and Nine Itch Nails in concert! I be seeing them at the Red Rocks Ampitheter here in Colorado. Im like the biggest fan in the whole wide world :-) It going to be great and the Red Rocks is bestest place to see concerts and I wish that it be sooner than wait until September. I dont care bout a new lineup as long as Trent Razor is still at lead singer it gonna be cool.

Susana Fernandes | 3/28/2008, 10:54 pm EST

Albert | 3/30/2008, 9:35 pm EST

I cant wait till the concert!!!! anyone know if theres an adge limit?

Schultz | 3/31/2008, 10:44 am EST

Finck was good, but I ahve seen North with NIN a few times and must say brings an entirely diffrent energy to the live shows.

Better to move ahead than look behind… the show at the Rocks will kick ASS!

I don’t get it. Why would NIN perform in little towns like Knoxville, Duluth and Morrison when Arizona is America’s 5th largest state and Phoenix has 2 huge universities?

to Don | 4/1/2008, 8:33 pm EST

Morrison is just outside Denver. It’s where Red Rocks is.

FrankMiller | 4/5/2008, 4:03 pm EST

It’s Robin Finck coming back. Don’t know if he has left the GnR camp or is just on loan. Traditionally, Reznor has been the only official member of NIN. He has used “touring musicians” as well as “studio musicians.”

DownwardSpiral | 4/7/2008, 9:48 am EST

It’s Robin!!!! He left fakegnr!!!

This is the best NIN line-up!!!!!!

I can’t wait to see them live!!!

To Don | 4/7/2008, 2:33 pm EST

Trent doesn’t Care about the size of the venue he cares about the quality of the crowd. I have been to shows in both Lexington and Knoxville. He loved the crowds there.

The Lights in the Sky tour was so amazing, and i can not wait until they come back to Texas. hopefully they will add San Antonio in like they did last time, but if not, you’ll definately see me in either Houston of Dallas.
