I actually love both their name and their music. It makes sense why you guys all dont like them, as its truely an electronica band which you guys are treating like theyre a classic rock band. No, they actually have incredibly addicting sound, which to untrained ears probably sounds like crap. I find them completely refreshing, and a breath from the usual music that has been coming out these days. These guys are spot on. Can’t wait for their next record!
(also, you have to admit at least the name sticks. It totally did for me)

the band name actually came from that lame tv show “the office” which originated in britan. they were making their myspace band page and couldnt think of a name so they turned on the tellie and the office was on and one of the characters said “Does it offend you, yeah?”…..yes i know the name is retarded…but none the less….now you know.

Everyone who’s on here bitching about the band name obviously has not checked out the greatest TV show of all time… The BBC version of “The Office.” If you had any taste in pop culture, you would understand what the line “Does It Offend You, Yeah” means. The band chose that name to out silly little kids with no sense of taste… like you. Surprise!

wow another band that looks and probably sounds just like that other band that looks and sounds just like them. ughhhhhh.

Great band, good choice of the next break out artist. Been hooked on them for a while now.

The only thing that offends me about these guys is the band’s name. “Does It Offend You, Yeah?” has got to be one of the worst band names of all time, at least ranked in the top 5 worst names. What were these guys thinking.
