I’m a huge Beatles fan, but I readily admit McCartney is a jerk. I think George and Ringo would agree. Still, I doubt very much that he abused Heather Mills. And the fact that McCartney is a jerk doesn’t mean Heather Mills isn’t a gold digger. As far as money is concerned, I’m not crying for either of them. I do think it’s sad that McCartney got played, because he seemed to have a genuine relationship with Linda, and he probably thought he had that with Heather.

McCartney deserves whatever he gets. Let’s also not forget that he wanted to cut out Ringo & George from Beatles profits decades ago, [the shrewd bastard]and if it weren’t for John Lennon’s & Yoko’s endless litigations/lawsuits against him, those two would’ve landed in skidrow as ‘has beens’. If McCartney was not a former Beatle and just some ordinary, rich British citizen, would you all still feel the same toward Heather? For us, $48.5M is quite a lot of money, but for a billionaire like McMcartney this isn’t really much.
