  • Sirius Satellite Radio will today relaunch the station Rolling Stones Radio to mark the release of the Martin Scorsese concert film Shine A Light, out in theatres on April 4th. The station, which debuted when the Stones‘ released 2005’s A Bigger Bang, will air until April 18th and will feature songs from the film’s guest-filled tracklist.
  • Eliot Spitzer’s prostitute Ashley Alexandra Dupre has reportedly made nearly $200,000 in music download sales since the scandal broke. Her MySpace page has also received seven million hits.
  • Commenting on today’s LA Times story that connects him to the failed 1994 assassination attempt on Tupac Shakur’s life, Sean “Diddy” Combs said “This story is beyond ridiculous and completely false. Neither Biggie nor I had any knowledge of any attack before, during or after it happened. It is a complete lie to suggest that there was any involvement by Biggie or myself.”
  • Radiohead is teaming up with animation studio Aniboom to host a contest looking for an animator to create storyboards for a video for a song from their album In Rainbows. The winner will receive $10,000 and the opportunity to make the video.

what a slap in the face to all real musicians who sweat to master thier musical instruments–song writing–singing etc–to have to look at you report that a prostitute with no talent is given this type of attention in the usa ?music business” to even mention her name is an atrocity–I have heard her “tracks” they are the worst garbage usa can “put out” I know now that Rolling Stone magazine is just a poser–a fraud–nothing to do with music—who cares how many down loads this skank gets–=shes not even a “singer” let alone a musician–just you “reporting ” on her is disgusting you revolt me
