Video: Tom Morello, Serj Tankian, Billy Bragg Rock “Body of War” at SXSW

We chatted with Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello and System of a Down’s Serj Tankian just before they hit the stage for solo sets at a concert at Stubb’s in Austin, Texas, to celebrate the soundtrack for the new documentary Body of War. As Rolling Stone has already reported, the movie follows Tomas Young, a war veteran whose spine was severed by a bullet in Iraq, and his odyssey since his injury.

check out American Bang’s song for ‘Body of War’ called ‘Home, Mr. President’. It’s from the perspective of an Iraq War soldier, as is, of course, the documentary itself. It’s up at their myspace page:

Tom Morello Justice Tour is Hitting NYC!! April 17th at the Nokia Theater. I Got TIX!!! The Show says he also will be playin in a supergroup with Slash and Jerry Cantrell. Hopefully Serj shows up too!! Its gonna be sick!
