- Snoop Dogg, not satisfied with Father Hood and an upcoming animated series, will guest star on the long-running soap opera One Life to Live. The Doggfather will act in a few scenes and perform two tracks from his new album Ego Trippin’ at the fictitious Ultra Violet club, as well as remix the show’s opening theme.

- A diamond-encrusted iPod shuffle went on the auction block last night at a charity event in London. Comprised of 430 diamonds and pink and white gold, the iDiamond is expected to fetch about $40,000.
- The music industry is “seriously considering” proposing a bill that would force ISPs to pay a file sharing surcharge after failing to curb illegal downloaders by suing the downloaders themselves.
