
- Michael Jackson has refinanced his famed Neverland Ranch, saving it from a trip to the auction block later this month. The singer came to terms with Fortress Investment Group, to whom he owed $24.5 million, to retain rights to the now-defunct ranch in Santa Barbara, California.
- Sara Bareilles will receive a special ASCAP Vanguard award at the association’s twenty-fifth annual Pop Music Awards on April 9th. The singer will also perform at the ceremony, where Steve Miller and Lionel Richie will be the recipients of lifetime achievement awards.
- Actor Terrence Howard has signed a recording deal with Columbia Records to release the first album by his band Terrence Howard Presents Me and the Band of Kings. The album, A Little Bit More Like Me, is due out in the fall.
- For those who can’t get enough Father Hood, Snoop Dogg will unleash a new animated series on Comedy Central later this year. The show will follow the D-O-double-G’s adventures growing up in 1980’s Long Beach, California.
