They better add some better bands. Last year’s lineup was AMAZING. After 2007, Rocklahoma had an opportunity to become the best annual 80’s metal festival in the world. This lineup is so, so, so weak.

I heard the guys in Whitefoxx do all their own stunts

Marietta the Rockin' Barmaid | 3/14/2008, 2:24 pm EST

Who is WHITEFOXX?!? Dude, Tony Harnell from TNT was their original lead singer. These guys were one of the best un-signed bands of all time. Reggie Wu from Heaven’s Edge also played guitar in the band. You need to do some more research, dude!

Jeff Gerber | 3/14/2008, 2:20 pm EST

Who the hell is WHITEFOXX?!?

Angel from Reading, PA | 3/14/2008, 2:14 pm EST

WHITEFOXX at Rocklahoma!!! Rug is a rock god.

Crazy Carol | 3/14/2008, 2:11 pm EST

Sorry, I spelled Cinderella wrong…shouldn’t ever mix drinking and the internet.

Crazy Carol | 3/14/2008, 2:08 pm EST

I used to see WHITEFOXX play at all the Philly clubs with Cinerella before they got signed. I think Jeff LaBar used to play guitar for them…great band, cool songs…

Ray-Gun Jane | 3/14/2008, 1:58 pm EST

Are you kidding me?!? WHITEFOXX is playing at Rocklahoma on Friday, July 11th at 3:45…Awesome band!

Galaxy Rock-Dog | 3/14/2008, 1:55 pm EST

my last comment was well on topic but it was deleted for some reason..as i was saying rik emmitt of triumph is a rock n roll machine and a very talented guitar player. I would like to see anyone complaining get on stage and do a better job than a no name band from the eighties, i bet you would suck too…Even if the bands are great its still a huge party with lots of boobs so rock on I say

Rosewood in the 80's | 3/11/2008, 9:46 pm EST

Judas, Iron, Bon Jovi, AC/DC, Motley, hell even OZZY. The line up is fun but where are the founding fathers of 80’s head banging music? I saw Tesla Saturday night in Fort Wayne and out of them THEY STILL GOT IT!! Bring on the big names.

scooby | 3/10/2008, 7:41 pm EST

all you dumbasses complaining! theres all ready 80,000 ticket sold! because you dickheads dont like this and that! stop your crying! people fly in from all over the world! motley crew in talks for sunday night!if you hilljacks aint at rocklahoma your just gonna have to work that night at buger king! so shut the hell up!

spell check ——wonders!
I’m as f-up as this line up.

bmore | 3/10/2008, 7:19 pm EST

Kix rocks but, the rest are one hit wounders.
They are what killed metal.

DZ | 3/10/2008, 12:10 pm EST

That is a terrible, terrible, terrible lineup. Most of the bands should be on the second stage. The folks that are running Rocklahoma really messed up. It WILL go out of business if they don’t find a better lineup for 2009.

They charge $380 dollars for VIP tickets!!! Can you justify $380 for that lineup???? I mean… what a crock of s—-!!!!

hook em baby | 3/9/2008, 8:20 pm EST

man im from pryor oklahoma and this years rocklahoma sucks big balls i went last year it was great what happened to ac/dc guns n roses i mean come they gotta do better then this

Bret michaels says it all in that photo. All that needs to be said about Crocklahoma. A load of CRAP!! Anyone know bret’s address? I wanna send him some laxatives. He looks like he’s in a LOT of pain.

“Bret Michaels wig will be performing an acoustic set on Sunday.”

ha ha ha faaaarrrt!

There’s no way this is Bob Saget! And if it is, it’s time for him to be put in a home!

Crockett | 3/5/2008, 6:00 pm EST

Yes, it’s true the Sooner State is behind the times. We just legalized tattoos a year ago and hopefully soon, you can buy 6-point beer in a grocery store.

Oh yeah, where’s Bret’s mic at in that pic? They say the first thing to go is your memory…

Cheesecrop | 3/5/2008, 4:09 pm EST

If your really into 80’s metal this is a fair line-up so far. I’d hope for at least one or two more name acts in the TBD spots though, or you might see the whole thing fizzle out.

Bob Saget's Revenge | 3/5/2008, 2:25 pm EST

Bret Michaels wig will be performing an acoustic set on Sunday.

“every wig has its fool, just like every douche-bag, sings a sad, lame, song, every wig has its fool”

Ya it does……

DOUG 40 | 3/5/2008, 1:37 pm EST

I THINK ITS A BITCHIN LINE UP. IM GONNA ROCK MY FUCKIN HEAD OFF.

Jack Russell | 3/5/2008, 12:59 pm EST

re: Jon | 3/5/2008, 1:41 am EST

“Jack Russell, you called it. On behalf of the state of Oklahoma, I apologize”

Well, you’re right, I sure did. But you’ve made up for it by agreeing this person needs to die!

Mullet Man | 3/5/2008, 10:21 am EST

Once again, Oklahoma is proving to be the cultural mecca it has always been regarded. George Lynch and the Lynch Mob? Classy. And that photo looks like an ad for adult diapers.

Sanchez | 3/5/2008, 8:21 am EST

Oh man, just to see the wrecks that will show up for this will be worth the price of admission…
Bill it as ‘’The People that time forgot fest 2008′’…

sallywildheart | 3/5/2008, 8:04 am EST

GYPSY PISTOLEROS & DIRTY PENNY are the two best bands on this bill.

Jungleland | 3/5/2008, 7:59 am EST

Night Ranger
Telsa
Enuff Z’nuff
Cinderella
Trium ph

If these were all the same night I would have to see this, but spread out over 4 nights? I don’t think so!

PS - There is NO WAY the Kingdon Come guy can still hit the “Get It On” note

Jon | 3/5/2008, 1:43 am EST

Actually, Die Bart Die called it.

Jon | 3/5/2008, 1:41 am EST

Jack Russell, you called it. On behalf of the state of Oklahoma, I apologize.

That looks like a penis to you? Obviously you’ve seen a lot more of them than I have!

John Sinclair | 3/4/2008, 10:38 pm EST

oh well.

Bunch of Poseurs | 3/4/2008, 10:19 pm EST

I think Armored Saint is one of the cooler bands in that group and shouldn’t be lumped in with those other hair metal bands. Also Zebra and Kingdom Come had some cool songs. The rest suck ass.

MrMDN | 3/4/2008, 10:10 pm EST

Enuff Z’Nuff are too good for all these other bands. They’re probably the best power pop group since the Rasberries and they get lumped in with all this hair metal :(

Jack Russell | 3/4/2008, 9:58 pm EST

Yep. You’re right, I screwed up.

I doesn’t matter! The Angel Of Death ALWAYS arrives on time, that’s all that matters!

Enjoy your dirtnap!

Bozo | 3/4/2008, 9:47 pm EST

Jack, that would’ve been a good post if you didn’t screw up on the month - we’re in March now, not February.

Die Bart Die | 3/4/2008, 9:35 pm EST

Can we re-name this Rocklahoma Festival to Sucklahoma?

Jack Russell | 3/4/2008, 9:30 pm EST

mcache,

you’ve officially been penciled in for an appointment with The Angel Of Death. You will receive a confirmation e-mail by 12:00 EST, February 5, 2008.

Nighty, night.

mcache | 3/4/2008, 8:21 pm EST

It’s really a shame that Great White won’t be on the bill - I was really looking forward to hearing about them setting the audience on fire.

A Confederacy Of Dunces | 3/4/2008, 6:57 pm EST

Apparently Bret Michaels has grown into a musical genius that he no longer needs to work with that ahead-of-its-time rock and roll juggernaut, Poison.

Hey you clueless ticket buying TV watching numbnuts:

Some people need to be EXTERMINATED, not celebrated!!!

Why do I even bother?
I’m just a lone voice in the rock and roll wilderness . . .

Will The Thrill | 3/4/2008, 6:55 pm EST

For a second there, I thought that the tongue on his t-shirt was his dick
