Last week, we requested suggestions for the best songs with colorful titles. We tabulated the many votes, and are pleased to present the list of Reader’s Best Color Songs. Check out the top ten, then click after the jump for the breakdown by hue.

All I can say is that they should change the title: READER’s Best Color Songs

’cause I don’t think the ones listed are what the readers have voted. I hardly remembered
U2’s Red Hill Mining Town or
Grateful Dead’s Scarlet Begonias being voted and a lot of other suggested color songs weren’t included.

They should cross out the “Reader’s” part in future installments and say straight ahead that they’ll just amuse themselves with the suggestions given by the readers since they already had specific songs in mind.
