It’s funny how the tv networks have to resort to the internet to try to snag the next big hit. Just because a webisode gets a lot of hits and buzz on the internet does not translate into a hit on network television. Some internet webisodes are better left on the internet or at least on a premium cable channel where it won’t be filtered down and heavily edited to comply with FCC standards.

As an example, Quarterlife just bombed on tv and even that show’s co-creator admits it was a mistake to air the show on tv from the net. According to the Hollywood Reporter, “quarterlife marked the network’s worst time-period performance in the 10 p.m. hour in at least 17 years, averaging a 1.3 rating/4 share among adults 18 to 49.”

And RS got Quarterlife ranked at # 5 on their top 10 list. LOL. Who gives a shit about the life of bloggers and their post-college dealings. Sounds boring to me.
