The Patti Smith Group not making this list is a crime and nearly all the bands on this list would probably agree.

I can only imaging how bad Hole’s unplugged show sounded. Courtney Love’s voice is nearly as appealing as the sound of rotting trash being scraped off the bottom of a garbage can, even when produced in a studio. Including her on this list is a disservice to any woman who has ever picked up a mic or guitar. Hole unplugged? No thank you. Please, please, no.
