ive been listening to jack johnson since he first came out. and if you think he didnt deserve this cover, then you are just a plain scumbag.

If you actually read up about who Jack is a person, he is very admirable and should be respected. And he has made way better cd’s than curious george. It is very ignorant to judge him just off that because you clearly have never listened to his music before.

If you were just discovering J. Johnson when this cover came out, you were already too late! Best stuff came earlier, Rolling Stone missed that boat. Great show though!

fuck you all, jack johnson has done way more than just the curious george soundtrack. dont show your ingnorance

I can’t believe how naive and annoying some people are! Rolling Stone puts so many ‘questionable’ people on their covers, once they put an amazing songwriter/singer like Jack Johnson, and what do people do? Be dicks. I hope you guys actually listen to an album before saying he sucks…

Why is this guy suddenly EVERYWHERE?

thank god its not another blank boring white background. apparently a photographer with some creativity got back in the studio this time.

I agree David when every cover looks the same I can’t tell there is a new issue in my mailbox. I think they should be more creative from here on out.

Let’s get this straight…Arcade Fire-no cover. LCD Soundsystem-no cover. The Killers-no cover. But the douche who wrote the fucking Curious George soundtrack? What a joke.

Molettie | 2/20/2008, 12:50 pm EST

I can’t believe Rolling Stone used a different background other than white?

countryfeedback | 2/20/2008, 10:55 am EST

Doofus | 2/20/2008, 9:56 am EST

I still can’t figure out who that is on the cover? Is that Michael Stipe. Man, this is a tough one Rolling Stone, can you give us some more clues?
