Every week Poison frontman Bret Michaels searches for a worthy life partner on Rock of Love 2, while Rock Daily searches for ways to reference “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” in our Rock Reality Show Recaps. Here’s our take on episode four:
Sixty Minutes of Rockin’ Reality in Two Sentences: After last elimination night’s party, Olsen-twin-clone Daisy accompanies Michaels to his room, annoying perpetually ignored Aubry and the still-married-but-conflicted Kristy Joe, who spends most of the episode in tears. At a custom-bike-building challenge, lead mechanic Inna scores a date and the rest of the winners pose for a Fifties-pin-up-girl style photo shoot where Michaels indulges his love of gossip (we think that’s secretly why he does this show) and whines about Kristy Joe.
Did Every Rose Have Its Thorn?: No rose, no thorn (though Michaels was especially prickly this week). Are we going to have to give up on this category this season altogether!?
The Most Ridiculous Part: Megan readily admits she doesn’t really know what’s going on. That much is clear: “It doesn’t look like I’m from the Fifties … I’m in my twenties! I’m twenty-two!”
The Rockin’ Finish: Kristy Joe and Aubry form such a strong bond that Aubry sacrifices herself at the elimination in an attempt to give K-J a second chance at Poisonous love. Unfortunately for Aubry, she was actually the eliminated contestant all along … so Kristy Joe flips off her hysterical tears and prances on down to pick up her backstage pass.
