Alas, the “War” that will be playing will only have one original member on it.

This was due to a lawsuit between keyboard player Lonnie Jordan versus the other surviving members of the band.

While Jordan tours under the name “War” with other hired hands, the four remaining living band members now play in The Lowrider Band

Looking forward to seeing Eric Burdon and WAR Spill the Wine at the Royal Albert Hall on April 21st in London. Lonnie Gordon is WAR, and Eric Burdon is the best blues rock singer from the UK. This is gonna be one helluva concert!!

With so many great songs to perform for the first time in 37 years, it’s just a total but pleasant surprise that Eric Burdon and WAR are going to funk it up again in style. The concert is going to be worth it just to hear them play Spill The Wine!

It’s sad that Burdon will sell out 4 of his former WAR bandmates by claiming that they are reuniting. The Low Rider Band includes 4 of the 5 surviving members of WAR, including Lee Oskar. Calling this a reunion is a fraud. Save your money. See the Low Rider Band next time they come to town. No matter what they are callled, they are as funky as ever.
