Amy Winehouse wasn’t always a globetrotting tabloid-friendly superstar—she was once a bored teenager just trying to make it through school. Click on the above video to see comments from two of Winehouse’s former teachers from London’s Sylvia Young Theater School, and tune in to the full Amy Winehouse: The E! True Hollywood Story, airing this Saturday, February 9th, at 6 PM.

WHAT IS THE ATTRACTION WITH WINEHOUSE. SHE IS A TRAIN WRECK AND HER MUSIC DOESNT IMPRESS. I WISH THE MEDIA WOULD AVOID HER INSTEAD OF REINFORCING THE CRAZINESS.

No, rock stars are not like us….we do not have the means to make such spectacular messes of our lives, nor are we often encouraged to continue down the road to destruction through grammy nominations and stories centered around our lives,as these sad souls are. Some of these people need an off the track train of consequences to slam into their careers, but will that happen? No….

Amy Winehouse is on a road to self destruction and can’t seem to appreciate her own success. But I can understand because I also happen to be addicted to crack and have a husband that continually cheats on me and does heroin, but I don’t have a musical career to fall back on like Amy does. May the Lord Jesus strike down Amy for the mess she is.

i support amy winehouse. people need to understand that addiction is a disease, you cant just snap ur fingers and not get high anymore, no matter what ur income or status is. hopefully amy will be better and stay straight and she needs support, not criticizem.

Amy has a great voice, talent as a songwriter and a flamboyant way of dressing. Hope her drug use does not prove fatal. I wish her a long, productive life.
