I don’t think KISS has any right to have the “replacement” members pose as the originals, as the personas matched the persons, and “Beth” belongs solely to Peter Criss, since he wrote and sang it.
When Eric Carr and Vinnie Vincent came aboard, they picked their own personas, so why couldn’t the others, or why didn’t KISS just go back to no make up, after Ace and Peter left?
I grew up on KISS, and they were the group that paved the way for my Rock and Roll interest, but am starting to dislike the things they have done to the orginal members, such as letting Criss’ contract run out, then telling him they didn’t need him anymore. WTF?!?!
I just don’t know how they can get away w/ what they’ve done in the past and they are currently doing.
I believe Ace Frehley hit the nail on the head when he said that when R & R was no longer fun, he decided to leave (again).

Does it matter who the performers in Kiss are if the makeup is correct? Honestly, Kiss isn’t a band, it’s a three ring circus.
