I can’t believe Phil Ochs is not on there. “I Ain’t Marching Anymore” is a classic.

I’m still laughing at myself for saying Barry White sang “Eve Of Destruction” vice Barry McGuire (who didn’t make the list, oh well). Might as well say Barry Manilow composed “Love’s Theme”, or Barry Gibb sang “Mandy.”

I like the list they came up with based largely on our suggestions. I’m glad they included two each for Bob Dylan, John Lennon and Bob Marley.

I am surprised that Green Day’s “American Idiot” or “Holiday”, Eminem’s “Mosh”, the Guess Who’s “American Woman”, the Temptations’ “Ball of Confusion”, the Dixie Chicks’ “Not Ready To Make Nice” and nothing by the Clash, Pearl Jam, MC5 or Randy Newman made the list. Still, the list is only 25 long, and despite great songs not making it, there’s not a weak song among those that did.
