• Actor Jesse L. Martin, known for his work on Law & Order and the Broadway musical Rent, will star as Marvin Gaye in the upcoming biopic Sexual Healing, set to start shooting in April. The Sopranos‘ James Gandolfini will also appear in the film as Gaye’s promoter, Freddy Cousaert.
• The Roots and TV on the Radio will join forces to perform modern interpretations of civil rights songs on the soundtrack of the documentary Soundtrack for a Revolution.
• The Brian Jonestown Massacre will release a new album, titled My Bloody Underground, on March 31st.
