“Let It Bleed”: Photos from Behind the Scenes of the Rolling Stones’ 1969 U.S. Tour

When the Rolling Stones hit the U.S. in late 1969 for the tour that would end in the ill-fated Altamont festival, photographer Ethan Russell was there. I know that Keith and Mick Tayor split the lead in the Get Yer Ya Ya’s Out version of Sympathy for the Devil. I’ve listened to 5000 times. Keith starts and Mick finishes. Greatest Live solo effort for all time. Now and for centuries to come.
