  • Israel has invited Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr to visit for its 60th birthday, forty-three years after banning the Beatles in fear their music would corrupt Israeli youth.
  • Missy Elliott will premiere the joint 3-D video for “Ching-a-Ling” and “Shake Your Pom Pom” on TRL next Monday.
  • This year’s Shortlist finalists have been announced, among them Arcade Fire, Feist, M.I.A. and Wilco. The winner will be announced next month.
  • On yesterday’s The View, Barbara Walters revealed Britney Spears’ manager told her Spears was suffering from “mental issues” and is currently being treated for them.
