• Former blink-182 drummer Travis Barker has sued the Rockstar Energy Drink company, claiming they posted a photo of him holding a can of the drink on their official Web site, “identifying him and his endorsement by name” without permission. Barker’s suit seeks unspecified damages.
• An incarcerated Foxy Brown handwrote a note to a New York judge as a part of an appeals claim on Tuesday asking for early release over fears that staying in prison could damage her pre-existing “profound hearing loss.” Brown was sentenced to a year in jail last September for a probation violation.
• Despite wide speculation, the 2008 Coachella lineup may not feature the My Bloody Valentine reunion when it is announced next week, the L.A. Times reports. The Times also reports a “surprising veteran act or two” may appear.
• At the New York Times‘ Art & Leisure Week, Feist revealed her upcoming video for “The Water” (the follow-up to her breakthrough clip “1234″) will star actor Cillian Murphy, while the clip for “Honey Honey” will feature a Canadian avant-garde puppet theater.
• Officials at the Apollo Theater are beginning a national fundraiser to garner funds for the “final phase” of restoration at the historic venue. This $47 million face lift is expected to be done by 2010.
