
- Paul McCartney will present the first major U.K. collection of photographs taken by his late wife, Linda, in an exhibition opening April 24th. McCartney spent three years putting together the selection, which commemorates the tenth anniversary of Linda’s passing.
- Martin Scorsese’s Rolling Stones documentary, Shine a Light will make its debut as the opener for this year’s Berlin Film Festival. The festival, which opens February 7th, also marks the premiere of the first film directed by Madonna.
- Eric Clapton has opened an eBay store to sell Clapton collectibles, the proceeds of which will benefit his Crossroads Centre at Antigua rehab facility. Current items up for grabs include backstage passes from last year’s Crossroads Guitar Festival.
- Experience Hendrix, LLC has issued a response to recent announcements that Fuego Entertainment has secured the rights to over 200 live Jimi Hendrix cuts. Experience Hendrix calls these tracks “inferior quality bootleg recordings” and says it will take legal action in order to prevent their distribution.
- On March 3rd, a UK-only album of Bob Dylan TV performances will be released. Re-Transmissions includes songs from the 1995 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony. The full track listing is after the jump.
