Though we all love Stephen Baldwin, Marilu Henner and Tito Ortiz, our favorite contestant from NBC’s Donald Trump-hosted Celebrity Apprentice has got to be the Demon himself, Gene Simmons. Each week, we’ll be tracking the Kiss frontman’s progress and rating him based on one of his band’s legendary albums.
This Week’s Task: Trump charges the two teams (one male, one female) with selling hot dogs on the streets of New York. Much sniping and phallic humor ensues.
Simmons’ Contribution: After naming his team “Hydra,” the Demon got to work calling his famous friends (including bandmate Paul Stanley) in an attempt to get them to pay ridiculous amounts of money for frankfurters, all while spouting typical Simmons-esque philosophy and calling himself a vacuum cleaner salesman (see video, above).
Kiss Album Rating: 1974’s self-titled Kiss. It was a strong debut with plenty of “Strutter,” and Simmons probably celebrated with a little “Cold Gin.”
