I’m not black but I think the word “nigger” takes on a entirely new meaning when defined in a hip-hop-ical context. Its kinda like how ginos call each other “bro”. I suppose by calling someone else your “nigga” it’s like embracing that person as one of your own.

chamillionaire doesn’t use the ‘n’ word in his records. he publicly repudiated the word last year. his latest cd doesn’t use it one single time. so he’s on solid ground there. however, calling for an execution is bone-headed stupid. and maybe illegal.

This story is just so pathetic. Rappers and hip-hop artists use demeaning, derogatory lyrics about black women and men all the time in their lyrics, but if a white DJ uses the word “ho” it’s considered racist. This is a double standard and it seems the black community needs to either practice tolerance or ban these words all together, even in their music.

And Chamillionaire is a stupd idiot for even suggesting Imus deserves a harsher punishment. Where is the free speech in this country? And do the Rutgers women’s basketball team or any blacks even listen to Imus to be offended by his comments? The news media blew this out of proportion.
