Photographer Allan Tannenbaum documented a few days in the life of John Lennon and Yoko Ono in November of 1980, one month before Lennon’s death. The couple were emerging from a self-imposed five-year seclusion to prepare for the release of Double Fantasy, Lennon’s final album.
