As usual, there was news on the Britney Spears front this weekend. First, the custody news: Spears had her temporary suspension on visitation rights repealed, allowing the pop star to spend some quality time with the kids at Disneyland Starbucks and go toy shopping tanning. Next, the career news: When Spears was confronted by a throng of paparazzi asking what the next single from her forthcoming album Blackout will be she replied, “Someone,” and indicated it’s out in December. What’s odd here is that there is no song called “Someone” on Spears’ new album, leading us to have two, completely different hypotheses. Brit is either about to pull an In Rainbows on us and surprisingly release a secondary album full of new songs, or she has no idea what songs are actually on her own album, given all the rushed recording and release-date hopping. We’re guessing the latter, even though everyone knows Spears does have a thing for early Radiohead.
