Those were the good old days. . . Like when Madonna was so broke and starving that she sucked me off so I’d buy her an ice cream cone!!!

Well, she had to get her protein from somewhere!

OK here’s a suggestion for the rock list of the week, inspired by the Boss doing Keep The Car Running: one of your favourite artists covering one of your other favourite artists. Can there be a more joyous sight? Here’s a few of mine to get the ball rolling:

Michael Stipe & Radiohead - ‘Lucky’

Onstage at the Free Tibet Festival a few years back, see if you can find the mp3. He treats the song so well, you can tell he’s a massive massive admirer. His deep voice nails the verses to the wall.

Queens of the Stone Age - Goin’ Out West

Proof that Tom Waits’ metal is heavier than most people - and that the Queens will sniff out any tune as long as it’s filthy enough, and then inject some fresh filth into it just for kicks. See also their versions of Who’ll Be The Next In Line and Precious and Grace.

Can’t think of any others right at the moment, but I reckon it’s a great list of the week!
