Although Floyd is classic no argument there…its obvious people making these coments have never listened to a c & c album, they are the saviors of modern rock, that coment could not be any more right. In an industry where everything sounds the same coheed is constanly progressing and as far as rolling stone goes its good that coca is finally getting the praise they deserve, its something RS should’ve gotten right in their first write up.

i love how dennis A just loves to come against coheed, and how people hate them for comparasins that other people make of them. they are NOT any of the great bands said and claudio and the band know that. but one thing is they are incredible musicians.

Mother Superior does stand out as the best coheed song to date and better than most songs I can think of.

Sad to see rolling stones using the new buzz word emo as well as an insult in earlier reviews. Oh well, someday Co&Ca will get the respect they deserve and I will be able to say I was along for the ride the whole way. Proud Coheed fan and a lover of all good rock music.

And yes, I would say having 4 albums with an underline story you can choose to follow, but listen with no knowledge of and still enjoy deep.

i know most people bash coheed for all their worth, but in reality coheed has really saved modern rock. if you listen and follow them, you realize how different they are from all the other bands out there. they differ themselves from this generation and put out sometihng that no one else does now a days and this may be why they are also being compared to such legends as zepplin and rush. they have brought back old styles, yes. but maybe just leave rush and zepplin as classics and stop the comparison.

i think nwft is brilliant in so many ways, its different from the rest and just shows how much they are progressing.

i am truly a die-hard fan and i think coheed will last a lot longer and prove to alot of people of what they are truly capable of.

I’m just a little confused. I could understand if you don’t listen to them, I guess. Maybe you’re just pretending to know what you’re talking about? That makes the most sense since they really are saving rock and roll. I wouldn’t listen to half of the classic rock that I do now if I hadn’t found out about this band. Dark Side of the Moon is cool and all, but listening to it all the time for another 20 years could get a little stale, especially if its all you’ve listened to for the last 20 years. It might not suck to try something new is all I’m saying. Oh hey, I know what you should do. Make fun of the way they look! Sweet, dude. “Wow, look at the crazy hair, man.” Give me a break.

Coheed is everything Floyd wasn’t… which is amazingly good. Rolling Stone knows nothing of Coheed and Cambria and how good they are. They’re just jumping on the band wagon too bad that they’re pretty late on that.

First off, whoever thinks that coheed and cambria are a bunch of whiny bitches really has no room to talk cause thats a completely ignorant statement considering these are concept albums. emo? yes, but what the fuck is a story without emotion? if youre that pesemistic want to be noticed for liking “classic” bands then thats fine, but dont try to bring the present diehard fans down with you. afterall, years down the road people will look back on this music just as you do on the likes of led zeppelin, pink floyd, and queen (all influenced coheed and cambria to do what they do). BOTTOM LINE is if you like music and you appreciate music at least have the decency to admit that every member of coheed and cambria is an amazing musician. if you dont like the lyrics and you think the storyline whatever it is you think claudio has a girly voice(probably can hit more notes than most girls out there)then thats fine but again give credit where credit is due. there are many musicians that dont appeal to me but are amazing musicians. thats life, not everybody has the same taste. in conclusion these guys are doing a lot for music, many of us love what they are doing and some of us dont, but grow up and get over your “oh theyre winey” blah-blah-blah shit. we get it youre FUCKING SWEET. maybe it will come back to bite you in the ass one day

Coheed and Cambria are possibly the nerdiest (in a bad way) rock (barely) rip off artists of all time. I seriously question the musical intellect that would even let these guys record let alone distribute an album.

My 14 year old son listens to them and I have to ask him to please put the headphones on. Claudio has to be the worst singer in the history of music. His voice is whiny and irritating and forced and without range and the falsetto makes him sound like a little girl.There is no way I could ever listen to the musicwith that voice. I don`t understand why he doesn`t try to sing better. I think this is a major problem with this band. They may get a larger fan base if they hired a new singer or if Claudio took some singing lessons.
