WIth all due respect to The Boss, Rolling Stone should be embarassed that Radiohead is not on the cover of the new issue.

What a shock!

Only 15 covers? It seems like Wenner puts him on every few months.

The Phantom | 10/18/2007, 2:37 am EST

Come on Bruce lovers, do you really think this guy is still cutting edge? haven’t we all heard his acoustic poliitcal fluff a million times before?

gmo | 10/18/2007, 8:39 am EST

Uh Phantom have you heard the new CD? Of course not. Do your homework…

Dr. Ralph | 10/18/2007, 9:34 am EST

Why is it whenever we anoint a common man as the voice of the people they start writing acoustic introspective crap? What happened to the cars and women in your songs Boss?

Jughead | 10/18/2007, 11:06 am EST

RS kisses this guy’s ass so much you would think that RS gets a cut of Bruce’s profits. Five star rating for “Magic”, yeah right. Who are you kidding RS? Is that your way of getting an interview and getting permission from “The Boss” to have him appear on the cover. Is that what it takes these days for RS to get top artists stories? The better the rating the better the chances of landing an interview and cover story?

Moe Pips | 10/18/2007, 11:08 am EST

The Bruce glory days are over.

bruce overdose | 10/18/2007, 11:20 am EST

ok RS, we get it, you like bruce. Now please, can we report on something else?

Pink | 10/18/2007, 11:35 am EST

Saw him last night! Best concert ever. Trying to get tickets to see him again.
Thanks to RollingStone for the interview. First time in a long time that i will buy the magazine instead of just reading it online.

I hate to pigpile, but this is boring. RS loves Bruce, Wenner & Annie Leberwitz(sp?), Bruce, all tied together, Radiohead, like them or not, are still cutting edge, one of the last real hopes & are relevant. I applaud Bruce’s effort. HIs heart is there, and maybe this album is a return to form, gritty, but 5 star? Leave that for the alltime classics, you mean this is an instant classic?…Bruce jumped the shark in ‘84, Born in hte USA is a pop sell out. American Heartland music is better off in someone elses hands, Petty probably surpassed him in that arena. Bruce will simply sell more magazines, just like when they put a 20yr old pic of GnR on the cover, like them or not….God, BS is BS.

Who said cutting edge? | 12/1/2007, 10:10 pm EST

I’m talking about relevence. This album is not acoustic, it talks about cars and women (maybe you should actually listen to it) but it also has songs with heart.

Saw him last week in Holland,
Wish he’d come to Israel with the band.

Thank you Max!!!
Hen from Israel!
