- Some Led Zeppelin fans who won the ticket lottery for the November 26th reunion show are complaining that anti-scalping measures are preventing them from getting their tickets. Because personal information of the lottery winner must match the credit card info used to buy tix, fans without credit cards (and people who used their mom’s card) are in trouble. Promoter Harvey Goldsmith says his company will examine complaints on a case-by-case basis.

In Philadelphia, an arrest warrant was issued for Notorious B.I.G. wannabe Beanie Sigel after he failed to return a rental car after a month.
- John Mellencamp’s “Jena 6″ support song “Jena” has drawn the ire of Jena Mayor Murphy R. McMillin, who calls the song and its accompanying video “so inflammatory, so defamatory, that a line has been crossed.” The Mellencamp camp says the song “is not written as an indictment of the people of Jena but, rather, as a condemnation of racism.”

Ticketmaster is also suing a Pittsburgh-based software company called RMG Technologies, which brokers use to scoop up tickets with thousands of requests before the general public can even click “Find Tickets.”
