I read stuff about the video before I saw it and thought maybe it was an improvement from the VMA’s. Britney dancing on a pole, while blonde Britney watched in the crowd. Sounded a little multiple role/personality, sorta like J Lo’s “Get Right.” Sounded like it would tell some sort of story. Well, it didn’t. A lot of videos are shot in one setting, but it still keeps you interested. Here we see Britney, on a pole, I kept waiting for something else to happen, because her dancing (or lack thereof) wasn’t cutting it. A few times she just stopped and stood there. I’m not a woman, I don’t know what giving birth to kids is like, but Britney was training to be a gymnast at one point before she started singing. People are used to her energy, she rocks her songs and then dances some great coreographed dance to go along with it in videos and performances. The song amazingly has energy, but everything she does to represent the song is completely lacking in energy. I feel for Britney, I don’t really know what’s going on with her. She looked rough at the VMA’s and the most awesome part of this video was to see her sitting at the bar, blonde hair, she looked AMAZING there, like a flashback to the old Britney. I thought the video was going to be good when I sae that, but then it wasn’t. I’m praying her album is good, the music is about all that is speaking good for her at the moment. I miss Britney, I hope things start going better for her and she gets her soul and energy back. I have faith in her, we all still love you Britney. Even if some do it secretly.
