Having trounced 50 Cent in their album-sales showdown, Kanye West has taken on a new challenge: The blogosphere. West recently started his very own blog, kanyeuniversecity.com, which is mostly a scrapbook of Kanye’s globe-trotting exploits and a random smattering of Kanye-approved links and music videos. While we wish he’d use the blog as a forum for his trademark diatribes, it’s still fun to glimpse directly into West’s noggin. Among West’s recent posts: An electronic press kit for De La Soul’s 1989 album 3 Feet High and Rising and a video for “One Evening” by Feist, whom West has been praising in the press. Good stuff, but here’s hoping some nasty commenter prompts Kanye to hop on the crazy train and rant away.
