I find it amusing that one of the people who was giving me flack on yesterday’s Phil thread, swore up and down that the person would never waste time on Phil threads, because the whole thing was morally disgusting.

I must say I always did think he was guilty but after the evidence, I now don’t think he is. Over here in the UK, the BBC are doing a programme about it and the host is a very well respected journalist who has uncovered many irregularities in what the defence have been allowed to produce in terms of evidence.

How long is it gonna take to reach a verdict though for god’s sake?? It seems to be going on forever!!

Spector’s trial proves nothing about his guilt. The evidence shows that the Criminal Justice system is guilty of being inept and disfunctional and we, the people, are guilty of letting it get this way. Shame on American, Hoo Ray for Spector.

What do you think happens? They just “forget” the whole thing.

Just got this from the L.A. Times

“Roger J. Rosen, who had been Spector’s lead counsel for much of the trial, pushed Wednesday for a 60-day delay before a retrial is discussed. But Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Larry Paul Fidler ordered the parties back to court Oct. 3.

On Thursday, Rosen said he would not represent Spector in a retrial.

“I signed on for one tour of duty, not two,” Rosen said.

If Spector — who has been through 10 attorneys since he was accused of murder four years ago — retains new lawyers, they probably would be given several months to prepare.

“It would take at least six months for any lawyer to get ready,” said Christopher J. Plourd, one of Spector’s attorneys. “This is a very complicated, serious homicide case.”

Plourd said he does not yet know if he will continue to represent Spector.

Dennis Riordan, a San Francisco lawyer who led much of the final portion of Spector’s trial, said “as of yet, my future role in the case is undetermined. But in any case, as an appellate lawyer, I would not be serving as lead trial counsel.

“District attorney spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons said that prosecutors “could be up in no time” for a retrial, and that trial prosecutors Alan Jackson, Patrick Dixon and Ricardo Ocampo probably would handle the retrial.”

the judge in the last trial helped the proscecution throughout the trialand favored the prosecution and gave them all the breaks and they still couldn’t find him guilty clarkson was a jerk for going with him in the first place with the big tip he gave her she was gonna go to bed with him for more money

I watched every moment of the first trial; Allen Jackson was brillant… regretfully, the jury was a hung jury. Every dog has his day. Spector killed Lana Clarkson and is now accountable… Priceless. Time to rest Lana.
