Just for the record: I really liked old Guns records, and I know how Axl is always blamed for things going wrong, but honestly the original Guns sucked live. Look at any concert footage from that time, including Axl, and compare it with the new Guns and their live work. There is no comparison. Night and day this band is better. And for the record Axl cancelled a few shows this time around, which is not that big of a deal - every band does. So South Africa was cancelled. Who cares? Stormchaser needs to get a helmet, it was one show.

Folks, my Pops always said, if you can’t get their attention with the song, you better be able to sing & dance. Axl puts food on the table performing, I suggest he gets back out there & hone his chops. He was captivating, he was a talent, I know I kept one eye on the MTV when he was on, even if I didn’t purchase his records. He best put his nose to the grindstone before he & his fans forget how its done. It takes 1/2 Al Jolson, another 1/2 Bruce Lee, and add a 3rd Al Capone for good measure before you can even think about getting on that stage in front of a legion of demin clap pimple faced fans. And make sure you shine up your Keith Richards merit badge while you’re at it. Don’t lose the grip Axl, that is 100% why you haven’t darkened the door of Rock greatness in the last 15 summers. You lose that razor’s edge, & its a slippery slope. I’ve seen it happen right before these steaming eyes & ears, it aint pretty. The catelogue’s there, the memories intact, grab your buckknife, get a bonfire blazin’, & watch the masses flock to dance around the flame, its still flickering, you just need some gasoline my friend.
