“Kurt Cobain About A Son”: Exclusive Photos and Music

The much-anticipated Nirvana doc Kurt Cobain About A Son hits theaters next month, but you can get a sneak peek right here with this photo gallery of movie stills and archival shots of the band by Charles Peterson. The documentary combines images of Cobain’s old Washington State stomping grounds with never-before-heard interviews conducted by journalist and Nirvana biographer Michael Azerrad. And check out our stream of “Overture,” a tune from the soundtrack co-written by Death Cab for Cutie’s Ben Gibbard.
